The challenge

Vellum made beautiful scent and sold it through a site that looked like everyone else’s. Two people answered every customer email by hand, and repeat orders depended on someone remembering to follow up.

Our approach

We rebuilt the identity around a single gesture — the fold — and carried it from the bottle to the checkout. Behind it, a concierge agent learned the catalogue, answers scent questions at any hour and prompts reorders when a bottle should be running low.

The outcome

Online revenue more than tripled in the first two quarters. The founders now spend their week on new fragrances instead of the inbox.

We hired Meridio for a rebrand. Six months later our storefront answers customers at 3am and revenue has tripled.
